| I never used to have this problem, but after I reformatted my C: drive and
reintsalled my operating system (Windows Me), everytime someone calls it
bumps me off line. This is very frustrating when I am in the middle of a
very large download. Any tips, anyone?

| Do you have call waiting?
You'll need to turn it off when you connect to your ISP
I believe *73, (or something like that) in front of the phone number will
prevent this
There is another feature like call waiting that will do the same thing, I
believe it's called message center

| Thanks for "jarring" my memory, I do in fact have call waiting and had it
previously configured with *70 to turn it off. Thanks again!
