Author Opening an exe file from a page

I have linked simple VB exe games on a page and it opens but it gives you the
choice of downloading or opening and i only want it to play if that is possible.
I have no idea how to make it play without the download/open popup.
Any help would be appreciated.

You cannot. Just think about all the virus, worm, and trojan programs
that could be run if a browser allowed that.

why not render your game to the .net mode, so that it could be ran online
without having the promt being shown?
