Author embeding a graphical email??

Hello, I recieved an email with an embedded html file with tables and images(
also w/ music!). There was NO attachment. Usually images would not show up in
the message in my case. When i forwarded the message, it only forwarded the
text in the html file. I wouold really like to know how this is done! If anyone
can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it . thanks!
