Hello,
I'm a very newbie on Dreamweaver and encounters a problem with forms.
I'm creating a form. Everytime I insert a text field in the design view,
Dreamweaver surrounds it with form tags.
Does somebody know how to change this behaviour, please ?
Thanks

Jose

Are you in "Layout Mode" ??

If yes, it may be causing this. Dw inserts a form tag around your form
elements, but they are all in separate table cells- there isn't a form tag
pair around the main table. So when you click into a new "layout cell" you
are outside the form tags in the other cell...

Url to the page?

It's an easy to do fix.

a) Change to Regular Table Editing, under the View menu-->Tables.

b) delete all the <form> and </form> except for one set.
in code view, drag the opening <form> tag to before the main <table> tag.
drag the </form> tag to after the </table> of that table.
