Author Page BG's and tables

Good morning.....I am having an issue that is very frustrating for me. I use
tables with colored BG's on my pages and find no problem "hiding" it (coloring
the borders). I really would like to use image BG's on a few of my pages but
then I cannot "hide" the table due to the multicolored BG! I know I can always
use layers but I would prefer not to. Is there any way to do this?

PS Murray --- ICQ 71997575 - if you're reading this - thanks for the CSS
assistance back in February.

putz : Noun : Slang. A fool; an idiot.

I was just saying thanks while acknowledging that your response was right on
the money. It was an answer that I should have known and found on my own, but
didn't.

Of course, nobody on the NNTP forum can see what the answer was since it was
somehow lost in the translocation from the webforums <PTUI - I spit on the
webforum!>

Murray,

for a minute I thought there was a trick to seeing the post. Since they were
talking about "hiding" things, I thought there was a hunt to find the
post...LOL!

Glad you didn't see anything either, at least I know the glasses still work.
