This problem has just recently started happening. Whenever I delete a
file from the site panel an alert box pops up saying

"While executing DWContent_Local_Delete command in menu.xml, the
following JavaScript error(s) occured:

exception throw in native function"

Then it proceeds to crash. I'm using MX 6.1 on XP Pro SP1.
I have tried un-installing my extensions but to no avail.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am having a similar problem setting up a new site after installing a Flash
detection kit. I did a search on Google for solutions. Google Answers said
there is no permanent solution to this at this time but reinstalling
Dreamweaver should fix the problem temporarily. I am about to do this now.
However, I will loose my sites setup so if there is any way of fixing the .xml
files (ie. menus.xml, etc.) without reinstalling, I would really like to hear
about it.
Other comments from support pages listed with my search indicated that this
problem happens with code files over 40K, mixture of files (ie. Flash, PDF),
and a known memory leak in Dreamweaver. I have used DW for 4 years now and MX
for the last year. I make heavy files with Flash, PDF etc. and this is the
first time I had this problem. There was also a brief message pop up with the
last crash which asked me if I had modified the site files outside of DW (which
I do all the time). Whether that has anything to do with it I know not.
However, I will subscribe to this topic, look forward to more info, and begin
my reinstallation. . . . . .
