Author Retiring old PC want to transfer DW4 to new PC

We are retiring the PC that runs our DreamWeaver 4 and want to move it onto a
newer machine. The new one runs XP-Pro. When I attempted the install process,
it asks for name and serial number. When I use the serial number that I have,
it acts as if I have not supplied enough characters or it doesn't like what I
have typed because it does not darken the button to allow me to go on. It was
originally an upgrade edition. Do I need to install the old Pagemaker first?
What else would help?

Many thanks.

fred:

Use the serial number from the original DW. Or call Macromedia directly and
ask them to help you.
