Author Simple question

Well, I for the first time am working on a website at all and so I
figure that I would use dreamweaver since it is a very popular program....
Well, I have been working on my current site for a few days now and when I
save it as a .html and open it the pages dont link to each other, the font
(using verdana) looks bold, and I am wondering if this the buttons are even
going to link to each other like I said to (I clicked on the picture and
clicked on the link button that looks like a blue chain and said for it to link
to a different page that I saved in dreamweaver format), now I am wondering is
this even going to work out when I get hosted by
http://www.activewebhosting.com. So here is the question, will the buttons I
made link to a selected page like I said, or should I look for another site
designing program?

I really appreciate any help given.

yes book good! It will HELP! so this site will be offline? If I under stood
your right.. and way YES you still do that, just make sure the link is a
relative one! ie: home.htm , index.html and so on. you will need to put them
all in a common folder! I think I helped ;-)

So you just want to click a image and go to a page.. easy, click on the image
and go to behavors and click "+" and select go to URL and then fill it our,
then next to it make it say "OnClick" simple, Dreamweaver is a great program!
not just saying that cuz I'm in there forums, But if you just starting, Like I
say all to much "Get A Book!" they help, any way good luck! :-)

Read a book? Oh man, I hate reading books...it worse than going to a funeral!
Even though I only want to link to pages that I am producing that have never
been online a day in their life, I still just click the image, go to behaviors,
and click "+"?

If I'm understanding you right, you don't need to be going near behaviors at
all.

Click on the image in DW. At the bottom you'll see the Property Inspector.

Where it says "Link," you can either:
A) click on the file folder icon, then navigate to the file you want to link
to (which should be in the same directory on the right in the Files Panel
B) Click on the target-looking circle and drag the cursor to the file you
want to link to.

Hit F12 (or File / View in Browser) and check to see if it works.

Just click & play without knowing what you're doing and what's going on
won't work. Building websites is not that easy.
