Author PLEASE help fix HTML formatting

hello,
I'm working on a weekly newsletter for a place where I volunteer. I've sent
out the newsletter for about 5 months now, with no problems (using
Dreamweaver.) Now, though, when I go to make changes to the newsletter every
week, I encounter difficulties. Whenever I edit A to edit it YTHING in the
"Design" view, all of my HTML formatting in the "Code" View is messed up, and
the HTML code becomes one giant paragraph, with no indentations. This never
used to be a problem until about 3 weeks ago. I'd REALLY appreciate some
help....

You are talking about the appearance of the code in the Code view of
Dreamweaver, right? What happens when you use COMMANDS | Apply Source
Formatting?
