Author server side includes II

I am a novice to using includes. I have noticed that when testing includes
locally (XP IIS) I get a failure to maintain proper links to images unless
the include (inc) file is in the same directory as the stm file. This sort
of defeats the whole purpose. Yet when I upload it to a remote server, it
functions as expected, and all is well.
Why does this pose a problem locally?
Code available on request.

Just make all your links root relative, and you should be fine.

I tried that. If I specify root relative for the include It makes it a
virtual include, and then it can't find the include at all. Dunno - It works
fine on remote using doc relatives, but not in my local IIS. This is all new
ground to me.
Thanks

Hi, Durwood, your local server may be configured differently? I'll
look at mine when I get to work.

You still have lunch and funds due you.
