Dreamweaver - DW Opening CSS on each change

I have a problem with DWMX04 repeatedly opening my linked css file each time
I amke an addition of change. Is there any way to set DW to stop this
behavior?

Have you ventured into your preferences yet? ;)

Edit > Preferences > CSS Styles > Uncheck "Open CSS files when modified"
