Author centering final web pages on computer screen

I just imported a page design from fireworks into dreamweaver. When I select
F12 to preview this page as it will appear on users' computer screens, it is
aligned to the left with a lot of empty white space on the right side of the
screen. Is there a way to make my website appear in the middle of the screen,
with equal white margins on the left and right, while also being able to
maintain the appearance of the full page when the page is reduced in size
(versus taking up the whole screen)? I'm not sure if this would be something to
take care of in dreamweaver or another program. I would appreciate any help.

Thanks,
Joy S.

If the page design is in a table, then you can align the Table to Centre, thus
the white space will be equal Left and Right.

You can assign the Alignment by selecting the Table and changing the Align
properity in the Properities Palette.

My template is not in a table. Any other suggestions?

You see why it's so hard to help someone without looking at their code. The
interaction usually goes like this -

Q - is it <fill in reasonable question here>?
A - No - any other ideas?
(go to start and repeat)

Can you show me your page please?
