| I am using DW MX for Chinese characters. How do you select or initiate the unicode function?

| Well, I found another odd thing with DW MX 2004. When I use Western European as my page encoding, I can type Vietnamese normally with unicode (with this encoding the characters off course do not display correctly on browswers). But when I switch the page
encoding to utf-8, I can neither read nor type Vietnamese characters with unicode. That is opposite to DW MX (which is good).

For what it's worth: I saw this question a couple of months ago, right
after they've released DW2004. Out of interest, I went to the MM site
and found that it's not yet supporting e.g. Vietnamese. That's what I
recall, at least. So, stick to DWMX.

| I am trying to reproduce the problem and I am unable to in MX 2004. I am able to enter Vietnamese characters by on Windows XP English with the English version of MX 2004. I added Vietnamese from Regional and Language Options. I am able to activate the
Vietnamese keyboard and enter characters with diacritical characters in both Design view and Code View by using the numeric keys. This did not work in MX 6.1. So I am seeing the oppposite behavior as what is being reported. Can someone provide more inf
ormation about the configuration and steps to redproduce this problem.

| Please see this attachment for evident (the zip file contains the sample file:
vietnamese.htm): The html contain a table of 36*4 with 144 vietnamese vowels.
- Use DWMX to open vietnamese.htm. You will see VNese vowels in a matrix of
36*4 (144) characters
- Use DWMX 2004 to open the same file, you will see a number of characters
are missing. They're still there, but DWMX fails to display, in Code as well as
Design mode.
So you can see the problem..
