| Hi!
I have created a background image with all the menus created in photoshop.
Now I want to give links to the selected part of the background. Can anyone plz
let me know how to do that in Ultradev 4. I am a new user of dreamweaver.
thanx,
ghuru

| If the links are part of the background, you'll need to create a "hotspot"
to create a link button. On the image tool bar (in the bottom/left hand
corner) you'll see 3 tools: a green/aqua square, circle, and a weird shape.
Use these tools to cover the background image that you wish to use as a
button and input the link

See Blair's response. You cannot put hotspots on a background image. But
you can put hotspots on a transparent GIF image that overlays the background
image.

| Thanks for letting me know. Can you suggest other ways to do this? I find more
fonts and styling options in photoshop and would like to use it on my page. Is
it possible to just include a hotspot with blank data so that I can draw it
arnd the text in the backgrnd?
