Author Problem with meta tags in templates

I'm using templates for the first time and making the keyword and description
meta tags editiable so we can modify them for each page.

I see the resulting page includes the content twice, once in the tag that is
generated for the page and once in a comment.

We know some search engines look at putting keywords in a comment as a form of
spam.

Anyone seen a problem from this?

No.
