Yes - both work now, but I see a curious flash of content below the two
links in what appears to be an orange colored box. As soon as I click on
the link, I see this and then it disappears.

Hi Murray,
thanks,=20
that little box, is it something like 2 by 2 pixel or biger in safari?
(it's orange colored because of loaded content, one of the pages is =
orange)
Anyway, it is known issue, cause for some browsers I am using =
dynamically created container (iframe),=20
which than, when loaded transfers it's content into layer.
Problem I am having is that Opera 7, doesn't trigger onload event if I =
create that container box=20
as hidden (e.g. display=3Dnone). I am not sure how safari is reacting, =
so, I'll probably issue another safari check soon ;-)

ok, here another one, hopefully last test, flashing box shouldn't =
appear,=20
visibility set to hidden makes opera 7, happy:

jjooee:

Why worry about Opera?

The box is about 150 pixels square (it's hard to tell because it's partially
obscured and only briefly visible).

well, I got this working on all IE browsers(except IE3), netscae 4 and =
up,=20
and thought that get it working in opera would make it complete ;-)=20

But seriosly, I feel bit guilty after making first version os this =
extension available:
it was working in netscape 4, and not in all IE versions, + it had a =
serious bug,=20
that content loaded in IE was not selectable, and staying on top of =
everything=20
(it was basically loaded as an active-x control, and still does in IE4)
Now that I recoded it, that issue is gone...
(only unknown "major" browser not tested in is IE5 on mac)

> The box is about 150 pixels square (it's hard to tell because it's =

pheew..that was bit to big ;-)

thanks for your feedback, it is much appreciated=20
