How are you linking to the file? If you are not already doing this, try the open browser window behavior rather than just linking to it.

well i read online somewhere that all you do is liek my text its... to view
this file click "here"
here is the link and they told me to just put in the link line the file path.
so i did that and it works but its in the same window. I want it to open in a
new window so it doesnt take someone away from the page if you knwo what im
asying. when i make it as _blank target it just shows my file managemnt window
