Hi all,

I'm hoping I have a relatively easy question for you.

I am using the window.close() function to close a window however, once clicked
I get an alert window (for lack of a better term) stating:

"The web page you are viewing is trying to close the window."
"Do you want to close this window?"

Is there a way to get around this?
As I am very new to web design the easier you can explain it the better.

I've attempted multiple searches but don't know what term I should be applying.
