Make a file for download
|

| Ayrdan 2004-03-12, 7:28 am |
| Hi people,
I have asked this question before, but got no answer..........
Maybe it is such a dumb question........ I do not know.
Anyway.
I want to allow a visitor to my website to be able to download a jpeg image to
use as a desktop wallpaper.
I can make the image/wallpaper, but what do I need to make it so that a
visitor can click on a button/link to start the download.
Thanks in advance

| Simple, just zip the file and create a link to text or image you want them
to click to start the download process.

| Hi
Your best bet is to zip the image up and link to the zip file, once you
have done that the download box will appear when the user clicks the link.

Just zip / stuff the files, insert your button and attach a link from the
button image to the zipped files.
