Is there a way for someone to be able to download a jpg file from my website
without zipping it? When I put a link to it, another page opens up with the
image on it. This is not what I want, I want them to get a download box.

Thanks,

Cris

Is this the only way that it can be done. Is there anyway to have a download box come up?

You can by fiddling with the mime types on the host server.

It's much easier to zip the file.

You need the server to send it with a content-disposition: attachment
header.
