Hi actually i am new to web designing. i am facing with a problem. i made my
web site logo using macromedia freehand and saved it as .gif format. But when i
import this saved .gif file at image placeholder, the quality of image is not
same as the original freehand file. even when i see .gif in picture viewer it
is good in quality. Only when i put the image on dreamweaver image placeholder
it edges are not smooth. All the text are blurred.

Can anyone please let me off this problem

thanks
Parveen (pshans2321@yahoo.com)

Are you resizing the image in DW? If so, don't. You can't resize GIFs.

Or JPGs for that matter.

If the other answers don't work, show us the image, etc. We may need to see
it.

Or BMPs if you want to really get down to it. I haven't tried it on an AVI
file however.
