Author Database of images

I am wondering if I could get some examples of how to display a large amount
of images on my pages - I will have about 10 main categories and each
category when clicked will show the images in that category in thumbnail
form and then each will be clickable to larger image. Anyone know of
examples on the web??

I would defiently suggest using a database to store the categories and each
image.

You could then use the Category list to link to a list page of your images,
filtered on the Category ID, thus use 1 page for many images/categories.

You can use an extension like Pure ASP uploader from dmxzone.com to upload the
images and store the file name in the database, using a normal Insert form.

Yup, and use PVII's ShowPic to display the full-sized image from the
thumbnail.

Here's an example of just such a gallery:

I would suggest getting your head around ShowPic first, and then
adding the dynamic feature.
