I have been a faithful Homesite user for years, but with my work switching to
SFTP they bought me a copy of MX 2004.
Anyways, I am trying to add a shortcut for "Deleting an entire line" which
used to be Ctrl - Y on Homesite but I have not been able to find this yet.

2nd thing is Homesite has an option to outline the current line you are
working on... DW does not seem to have this or at least I have not found it yet.

Anyone knows if I can do this please get back to me.

Thanks

No sorry DW does not allow you to assign a keyboard shortcut to delete a
whole line of code.

Again, not possible in DWMX 2004, sorry!

Just a thought...
If you are in code view in DW - you can click the line number you want to
delete (it will become highlighted) and then hit Delete.
Is that close enough?

Hi Rob,

That is OK, but in HomeSite you don't have to highlight the text, clicking
anywhere inside the line will remove the code.

I figured as much, and it would be very nice to have the same in DW as in
Homesite, but as a second best, it kinda works ok, right? :)
