Is there an easy DB Update for mySQL using PHP?

| I'm in the process of adding a mysql database using phpMyAdmin. I've got
the Add Record down, as well as the viewing records, so no help is needed
there. But my client wants to be able to edit the records sort of like he
does in Excel. He wants to be able to have all of the records being shown
(that's the easy part), but he wants to make changes within each, and just
be able to make all of the changes to each record before hitting the submit
button. Is that possible? I can only figure out how he can update one
record at a time, and to him, that is too time consuming.
Thanks,

| Did I not ask this in the right group? I wasn't sure if I should ask it
here, but I didn't think I should ask it in Coldfusion, either.
