Author Issues with getDocumentDOM

hey

I have written a Dreamweaver extension. There is a command in the extension.
This command checks if a file exists and if it exists , then it creates a DOM
object by calling 'dreamweaver.getDocumentDOM(fileName). '. This
getDocumentDOM sometimes throws an error "Argument number 1 is invalid in
getDocumentDOM". But for certain files there is no error. I have tested this
with HTML and XML files. There is no definite behavior. This is relatively
urgent so, if any of u all has any clue please do reply.

Thanks,
Ramya.

There is no problem with XML files. there is an error thrown mostly with HTML
files. But if I open the same file in Dreamweaver and perform some ducument
related operations like Save, there seems to be no errors.

Thanks,
Ramya.
