What kind of page - plain html or one with server-side script? Plain html
shouldn't present any issues. If it's cfm, asp, php, etc., then have you
properly defined the testing server?

| Les:
It sounds like they have defined a testing server without needing one.

| thanks for your response. we turned off the testing server and a blank page
comes up when we go to preview a flash movie that we placed on the index page.
the movie works fine when previewed from flash.
When we turn on the testing server we just get an error message in explorer
saying server could not be found. is there any documentation about testing
servers?
thanks for your help

| You only need testing servers if your pages need to be served, i.e., they
contain includes or server scripting. The two problems you describe are,
therefore, unrelated.
If you are getting a blank page when you preview, then you must have a
problem on the page itself - can you show the code?
