To get around it- discuss file and folder naming conventions with the
windows users.
Get_them_to_stop_naming_files_like_they_are_writing_a_paragraph.htm
Enforce the agreed on rules with your choice of blunt object.

To get rid of problem- The mx version has this limit.
The 2004 version does not have this limit on osX.
