Dreamweaver - Color Picker not working

When I chose a color from Properties using the color sampler, I get
the color I selected, but when I click on the little globe to get a
variance of the color, it is always on the very top at white in the
color window that pops up. This is something that just recently
happened, it used to hold the sampled color and let me select a
variation. Is this a setting that can be adjusted?

This usually happens when you've downloaded an update for DW MX. Did you
recently do that? It's a known issue.

This installation is on a new PC, so I installed DW and then immediately installed the extensions that I use. Is their a fix?

So, you didn't download any updates from MM's site? What is the version
number of your copy of DW?

No I didn't download anything recently but I did add extensions that I have been using on another PC. I have MX v6
