Author Client Changing own Images

Hi there, i'm a relatively ne DW user and have a question for anyone who may be
able to help me.

I've created a site for a collective of fashion designers. On the site they
have 6 images each of their clothing (6 thumbnails and full size of these
aswel). Every so often they will want to change the photos, and do it
themselves. How can they do this without having to use Dreamweaver and with out
me?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated

Thanks Heaps

The very best way to do this would be to have the image names saved in a
database, and have the pages pull the names from the database, load the
images and send the finished page to the client browsers.

Your client would then have to a) upload the images, and b) update the
database. You would accomplish both of these with a page giving them an
interface into the database. The insertion of the image data and the
uploading of the image would then all be done from the browser.

As I understands your post the have the same number of images all the
time...

Assuming that another suggestion could be to name the images something like
thumb1, thumb2 etc and fullsize1, fullsize2 (I bet you got the picture).

So if the make their own images (digicam and some kind of software) all they
have to do is learn a FTP program. Now they take a new image, resize it for
a full-size and a thumb, name them according to the images they want to
replace. Start up the FTP and replace the images.

Cheap and simple
