Author OPENING MULTIPLE PAGES?

Does anyone know if it is possible to highlight and then open multiple html
pages in Dreamweaver? I need to change about 300 separate pages on my site but
don't want to open them all one by one before editing them.

open the F8 site manager.
Select the files (check the help- on macintosh, the shift key or the cmd
key modify what's selected/not selected)

suggest you limit the number of files you open to what your machine can
handle. each page adds to the amount of RAM and other resources that dw is
using. 300 pages will probably lock up or crash most machines...
And depending on the Workspace options/os, the windows will be tiled down
and many of them tiny.

also- are these edits anything that can be approached with a Find and
Replace query?

I would do a search and replace function(CTRL-F) (as long as the change is
the same one in all the pages) and do a sitewide replace.

Thanks very much for the advice. Yes 300 pages would be a bit much to open all at once.
