Is it possible to make a site like this:

http://examples.macromedia.com/petm...flashstore.html

using Dreamweaver? I need to display text and images, what is the best way
to do this, something like iframes or a database?

I did have a go at it and can get the sliding using layers and the sliding
layers extension from FlevOOware.

thanks
arlie

That site is all flash. You need flash to do it.

as far as i remember the whole point of that demo is to show the
advantages of a flash interface over an html one.
i wouldn't try to recreate it in html - even if you could fudge some of
it with javascript widgets - the more complicated you make your html the
better the chances of it breaking.

We know the site is in flash! We have flash and have downloaded the project
files and plugged it into asp.net.

The question was how to go about doing it in html using Dreamweaver.

Huh? It's a flash site. You use flash for that type of interactivity.

I suppose you could go to great lenghts and attempt to do it all in dhtml
and then test and tweak for each and every browser out there, but, really,
that's what flash was invented for.

Or maybe I'm not fully understanding your question?
