Hi Al

I've just started using Dreameaver MX 2004, to build my e-shop. I was feeling
really pleased with myself when I found out how to change the background colour
of the navigation bar and the top and bottom bars/borders. But although in
design view the colour changes are there for all to see, when I check on
browser preview - they're missing

Any help very gratefully received

Thank

One, you should learn to title your posts so they don't get ignored (as normaly
happen with the "newbie") or you come across as a lazy slob unable to even ask
for help correctly

Two. your explanations are confusing. You mean you have frames in your page
and one is the navigation bar, and then a top and bottom frames that you call
borders

Three: Since its going to take you a little bit of time to go from figuring
out how to set your background color to building your E-shop, I suggest you
press F1 (F for the Function key on top of your keyboard) and read some basic
instructions for dreamweaver

I'm not sure whether this is the case but usually the browser not displaying
changes is due to the old page still being in the cache
A good trick when you want to force the page to update is to put a '?' after
the url
Hope this works for you
