Is it possible to create a recordset from comma delimited values ?

This could be values comming from either a form or a session variable:

id = 1,3,5
value = 34,32,45

Is it possible to create a recordset with those values ?
Can I insert those values into a table without creating a recordset ?

I am just trying to find a solution to this .. please help
