Help! I DMW won't copy files to the root folder

| This is driving me nuts, have been using Dreamweaver for 3-4 years but some
time ago things started to go pear shaped. Problem is this
I author an image or flash element to my pag
When I okay the file it is added and get the 'this file is not part of the
current web site etc' do you wish to copy it there now
I say yes and browse to the images folde
In the past this has been fine, the file has been copied and the absolute file
refernce has been converted into a site relative URL. Now all it ever does is
say
'The folder you have selected is not under the site root' and I have to cancel
ou
Basically this makes Dreamweaver pretty unusable! sure I can manually copy the
file there and manually enter the root relative path, but hey I could also
start hand coding HTML but that's not why I paid a shedload of Money for MX
Studio and then a shedload more to upgrade to MX Studio 2004 in the hope of
fixing the problem. In fact I cannot use MX 2004 as it is just to unstable,
anyone else find this
I have around 20 sites set up and this happens with every site
I have tried everything I can think of including tripe checking the paths in
the local site setup. Remember, this used to work and I have changed the site
setup in MX
Any help would be appreciated, I have serached everywhere and cannot find
anyone else with this problem

| Do not delete your first posted question and then you came back in and edit
later. This really messed up. And why did you duplicated your posts for same
topic. It is kinda rude in my humble opinion
