If I click within a library item the Relevant CSS panel does not show any of
the styles used within that item. Does this mean I should choose between using
library items and using the Relevant CSS panel

Much thanks in advance for any feedback on this issue

You should not have CSS styles in a Library item anyhow. Do you?
