| Hello,
Hi, I have created a site with sensitive infomation which is all password
protected. I have a login process.
Now, i want to know who is signing up to view the reports and ideally......
I want to recieve an email for each person who signs up. and untill i click
activate account......only then can that user sign in, they will also recieve
an email to say their username and password has been activated.
Any suggestions? or bettter method?

| Hello,
You can create this kind of application pretty easily using our ImpAKT
product.
1. create an account creation form
2. you can decide to store the password encrypted in the database
3. The account will have to be created with "active_account" set to false
4. then you can assign a "Send E-mail" trigger to the form, sending you
an e-mail to specify that a new registration happened, together with a
link to account activation
5. in the account activation page, set "active_account" to 1

It's a commercial product, but you can download the MX Kollection trial
and play with it just to make sure the product will suite your needs
