Images and Access Databases

| Does anyone know how to insert images through a file upload field into a image
folder and the corresponding path into an Access database using Dreamweaver MX?
I have read in the Forum this is the best way to deal with images and
databases as Access can't read binary code.
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks

| Make it really easy on yourself and buy the Pure ASP Upload extension from
DMXZone.com.

| hana,
its simpler as a two step process
1. You need a page to upload the images. There are many extensions for
this at the MM site. Most of them allow you to target a particular folder
for the image to go into - safer that allowing the user to mess with it.
Most can also restrict formats, sizes etc
2. You need another page to add the image to the database. As you
correctly surmise, this is just a matter of a field & entering the path to
the image, i.e a field with ../images/arrow.gif in it
Or you can just have the name of the image in the db, but with the
path in the page code; ../images<%some picture data%>
There are also Server Behaviours that will 'hide image' if the recordset
contains no data
