Author modifying halo subglobalnav

So I was wondering if anyone could help me out here; I'm not trying to get you
to write out full code (unless you want to ^_^), but maybe if you could point
me in the right direction...

I'm fooling around with a webpage using the Halo style sheet. For the global
links that list the subglobal links horizontally on mouse-over, I wanted to
change that so they were a verticle menu instead. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

You would have quite a task to do that.

Frankly, I don't recommend you try. The halo navigation method has a
serious flaw in it - your best bet would be to recreate that menu from
scratch using the methods taught here -

http://www.projectseven.com/tutoria...menus/index.htm

or

http://www.projectseven.com/tutoria..._hide/index.htm

and here's an example you can analyze -
