Author How would I do this?

Before I even post this question, please understand that I am not a web
designer, and I am completely new to this ?atmosphere?. I bought Dreamweaver
(MX/MAC) just to build a website for myself, and am getting the just very basic
info that I need from a ?for dummies? manual, again just for the very basics,
so please be kind (and simple as possible) for any response. I am all of the
through, and at my last page. The last page is where my clients order my
services (graphic design, and I know... usually graphic people know web design
also, well... not me). The first half of the last page is a form which I want
this info to return to me. What I want to happen next (after the form is
completed and sent to me) is for my client to be at the spot where he/she sent
the form, and then be able to order (through, for instance- paypal). I just am
not sure how to keep the client on the ?order? page after they submit the form
portion of the page to me. I would like to keep these two items on the same
page, but I do not know if I can have the form (design answers) come to me, and
then the billing info go to billing. Can this be done, what do I do.
Any response is appreciated, and again please be kind.

Don't forget that this will not work at all unless you are using some form
processing routine on the server, Dan....

I read several times, and didn't get that impression.

Me too, and I did get that impression:

But I might be entirely wrong, and in case I am:

Hello thefeld2,

Have you managed to make the form send? If so, did you use a server-side
script or just a "mailto" tag?

Good advice from Murray and Dan, but I wanted to add that what you're trying
to do is not at all very-simple for-beginners stuff.

Thank you so far for your input...
Regarding the question if I had gotten the form to work, and if I had
contacted the server- the answer is... the manual made it sound like I should
be contacting the host for form processing, and because it is my last page I
will probably be doing that this week (probably even today) to get everything
else set up, and see how it looks. So although I have the form written- no, I
haven't gotten anything to the host yet.
Thank you for the input so far, and my apologies for the length.

OK, the idea is that you need a script on the server to process and send
the form input since that's the only reliable way. Usually, many hosts
already have a script like that available, so ask yours. If not, ask if
they recommend any particular script, or if they don't, which script
languages, etc they support and other info you need to configure the
script and the form.
