Template Path Question

| I am haveing trouble with my template and I have never seen anything like it
before. In my template file .dwt, i create a rollover that has a link such as
.../../eop.htm. It works fine there, but when I create a page off of that
template, it gives changes the link name and gives it a hard link to my desktop
(file:///C|/Documents%20and%20Settings/alex/Desktop/EOP-SCS/eop.htm) so when it
is published, it doesn't work. Does anybody know why?
Alex :confused;

| Make sure of course your saving your document before adding images or links.
Procedure:
Create from Template
Save As my document.htm
Add content

| Shane, thanks for the insight, but I just tried to create a trial version. I created a new page from template, saved it as index2.htm right away, and the path still get changed to my desktop.

| Is your template folder and the html page you created located/saved in the same site?

| It's impossible to have a path like that in a properly placed Template file.
The template file must be in the Templates folder which must be at the root
of the site. Your link shows that it is not at the root of the site.

| My template is in my template folder, which is in my root folder. The problem
only happens when I try jumping back folder, ie. ../../eop.htm. It works slick
if I am just linking throughout my pages.
