Author help with css

Hi I have style on the a: tag for the hyperlinks on the page. I also have a
style sheet attached to a navigation structure which uses swap class. the
problem is when I hyperlink text on the navigation the hyperlink takes on the
attributes of the hyperlinks elwhere on the page. how can I attach a different
hyperlink attribute to the nav bar? Thanks Paul M
