Getting a good position in the search engines is a tricky thing to do. Most
search engines don't pay much attention to the meta tags, choosing to
concentrate on the page content instead.

It will take a few weeks for the search engine spiders to visit your site
and include you in their listings. I assume you have actually submitted
your site to the search engines rather than waiting for them to just find
your site?
