How to remove Update utility

I have a workstation with both Corel Draw 12 suite and WordPerfect 12
suite and if I uninstall the update manager from Wordperfect and then
start WordPerfect a window pops up and asks for the Corel Draw CD and
installs the update manager. How can I permanently remove the update
manager from both? Every time Corel Draw is started it goes through the
process of looking for updates and finds some unwanted add-on and you
need to reject it and that is annoying.

Mike,
Can't remove it but you can set it not to check.

You will find this in the Windows Control Panel as Program Updates.

The Corel website has an article relating to this. The link is so long=20
I can't paste it here so I'm including the contents of the article=20
instead. I believe that removal this way works with Windows XP but NOT=20
Windows 2000.
Hope it helps,
Andrew

There's nothing wrong with pasting long links. Some newsreaders will
break it up into multiple lines and the reader will have to put it
back together.
But there ARE shortcuts. I use TINYURL, and there's at least one more
available.
http://tinyurl.com/
Use the "Make Toolbar Button" function, and all you have to do is
click the button and you'll get a shortcut version of a long URL!
Example:
Here's the result url when you google for
Corel Images
http://images.google.com/images?q=C...G=Search+Images
when I click on my TinyUrl button, it comes back with
http://tinyurl.com/qxvnj
