Corel Express - Old Utility

About twelve years (or 8 versions) ago, Corel issued a nice
handy-dandy utility with the following description (from the included
Readme.txt file):
------------------
Corel Express 2.0 is CorelDRAW file utility which can read into
CorelDraw files and report information about the file such as what
version of CorelDraw it was created in, what fonts were used, if there
are any bitmaps in the file, etc... This can be useful in opening
CorelDraw files from unfamiliar sources. As well, there are some
functions to do batch import into CorelDRAW 5, to help manage
CorelDraw files and clipart, and quick access buttons to other Corel
applications. A help file is provided which describes all of the
program's functions and limitations.
---------------------
This was EXTREMELY useful. Does anyone know if there's anything even
remotely similar currently available? The original naturally doesn't
recognize any CDR file later than version 5.

well, this isn't useful on import, but if you're wanting a hardcopy of the
info... what about doing File|Document Info and choosing to either Print or
Save the info? The same info would also be generated when you do a
File|Prepare for Service Bureau.

Yes, thank you. That works for one file at a time - it was possible
with Corel Express to look at a number of files fairly quickly. Also,
the fonts shown with Document Info don't always agree with the
"missing fonts" list shown when you load a document. Sometimes it
includes SOME of them, sometimes it lists the substituted fonts
instead of the required ones.
What I'd really like to do is take a CD that has loads of CDR files,
run a "scan" to see what fonts it uses.
