Is there a way to fill a group of objects with a screen - a 2 color fill
pattern for example where one color is transparent showing the objects
below?

Jeff

It is a default Two Color Pattern Transparency, applied to a rectangle.
You can change the pattern size by dragging the small rectangles
or the circle (hold Ctrl to constrain), while using the Transparency Tool.

Ah - thank you thank you. As you can tell, I haven't kept up with coreldraw.
I used to experiment with every new feature each version from 3-6. But then
I got busy and started using draw for page layouts and paint for photos and
have missed a lot of the neat features. I had no idea that the transparency
tools had such neat options. That's the ticket, and it appears I can also
simply apply it to any shape or groups of shapes without having to combine
and powerclip at all - very very nice, and built in! Many thanks for opening
my eyes!
