this application is drving me crazy. ok so can someone figure this out...
"Warning you are running low on memory resources...bla bla ... Available
memory 3571mb Total needed 25mb ..
wow.. thanks for that warning that i have 3549 remaining megs of memory
available..

also now i have no property manager... well i do have it.. ie i can get it
to fly out... but it is constantly dissalowing me from doing anything like
move a curve to another layer. it just keeps throwing up the NOT A CHANCE IN
HELL symbol. I've tried F8, using 1508 page file. 7 gigs free on primary
scratch 5 gig on secondaary... what the heck is there left?

Check the object isn't locked.
Check the object isn't grouped to an object on another layer. Check grouping generally.
Open a new file and try the same process on that file. Is the file corrupt?
Resave the file with a new name, cut and paste onto another layer.

I don't know if anyone has an answer to the memory message. I don't have it here but I gather it only happens when installed RAM > 2GB. It might be solved by using Win 64 and if you are using XP and have a computer capable of running Win 64 MS will send you the upgrade for the cost of the postage. (Well that was the case a few months ago.)

I'm getting that message as well and I have 1 B of ram. In my case I
started getting the message after changing the Windows paging file from
1.5 gb to 3gb.

Memory message-- IGNORE IT.

Many have reported it here nobody has reported any adverse effects of
ignoring it. On my PC it arrived with a memory u/g and disappeared
eventually, now does appear at all.

This reminds me of an old DOS problem - a program would look at the shared
"available memory" datum - but would only look at the last n digits, because
that's all there were when the program was designed. (I'll show an example in
decimal for convenience). So if the cell contained

000650000

it would see the last 6 digits and say, OK, 650,000 is just fine.

But if it contained
001000000

It would see only 000,000 and tell you you didn't have enough!

I'm getting something similar with Dreamweaver and Rave. I am ignoring
the message - actually Dreamweaver had a check box to prevent the
message from showing again. Corel should copy this.
