I am wondering if there is a way that I can have CorelDraw save the print
settings when I close a file and reopen it the print settings are the same
as the last time I printed the job.. Indesign and Publisher both do this by
default but I can not find a way to do it in CorelDraw.
Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, there is a print style area in the print dialog window that allows some
information to be saved but it doesn't save everything. We have several
different printers we print to and it doesn't save the information as to
which printer the job is supposed to be printed to. I todays age of digital
printing I think it would be a very good idea in the up and coming upgrade
to be able to save every exact detail of which printer was used on each job
so, when the file is re-opened at any time it knows all the printer settings
and which printer to use.

I think that would be a wonderful feature, but also one that could be turned
off. Say, transporting a file to another computer where that printer might
not be installed. And to keep file sizes down on those of us with really old
stand alone machines and only one printer.
