Fill Tool not filling entire area selected.

Ex. If I create an oval, divide it into quarters, remove 3 of the quarters,
select the remaining quarter and fill it. It only fills the radius area and
draws an imaginary line from end to end of the radius and leaves the
triangle portion un-filled.

What am I doing wrong?

You need to complete the 1/4 oval part you want to fill...

.....and disable Options > Document > General > Fill open curves, if you
don't want CorelDraw to show a fill for curves that aren't closed.
This setting has to be saved as a default for new documents if you want
it to stick (I think).

I am trying to imagine Corel drawing an imaginary line... I have never seen
such thing. Perhaps I lack imagination.

: ) (just kidding: I hope your issue is solved soon).
