Can anyone replicate this?

Draw a vertical line, two nodes as line not curve, Then using the
transformation docker change the length of the line, leave non proportional
checked. Now go to the shape tool and try to move either of the end nodes.
Or add a node and try and move that. Does it behave normally?. I can't get
any node to move after having used the transformation docker to resize the
line.
Now if you do the same thing and uncheck non proportional right at the
beginning you don't get the problem, however if you have used the
non-proportional setting you cannot retrieve the situation by later
unchecking it.
Not an important b_u-g but a b-u_g nevertheless.
Best regards

Hywel
You're absolutely right.
It is not possible to move the nodes after doing as you describe.
Workaround:
Weld the line to itself and then it behaves just as it is supposed to.

Thanks Ronny, I tried cutting and pasting but the problem persisted. I would
never have thought to weld it to itself though, thanks.

You're welcome.
Welding is my first try when objects are tricky. Seems to "clean" them up.
Often do that with imported objects.

Welding IS very useful for odd situations.
I weld so much that I've assigned the quick weld command to my W key. Do
it too if you like, then try this:
make some brush script text, press W. In one step, all the usual
interior problems for this font are cleaned up. :-)

Yeah, that's the way to work with it.
