| Hello,
Is there any way to create conic gradients? I have many circles and would like to fill them with conic gradients. In the gradient window I only found radial and linear gradients. Thanks for the help.

| Hello Steve,
do you have Photoshop? Or Corel Draw? There you can fill objects or layers with conic gradients. Think of a clock. A simple conic gradient would start at 12 o´clock (blue), goes on until 6 o´clock (yellow) and then ends at midnight (white). The direction
is similar to what you can see on a radar display.

| Gallb,
As you've already discovered, Illustrator is far behind other programs in the number and kinds of built-in grads. Making a conic (or "radar" or "sweep") grad is possible in Illustrator with clumsy workarounds, which have been discussed in this forum often
(and the AI Macintosh forum). Do a search in both forums for "grad".

| Thank you, Steve. That was a very good advice.
